childrenshealthcarecenter.net started as a tiny two-room practice with a box of toys and a big idea: children heal faster when they feel safe. Today we are a full pediatric medical home with 9 doctors, nurses, lactation and sleep consultants.
No white-coat fear. Our rooms look like mini-jungles and space stations. We kneel to talk eye-to-eye with kids, explain every tool (“this is a bunny ear checker!”), and never rush parents. Average visit: 28 minutes. Average wait: 11 minutes.

Do you accept walk-ins for sick kids?
Yes! We reserve 40% of slots daily for sick kids. Walk in 8–11am Mon–Fri, or book online to skip waiting. For breathing trouble, dehydration or infant fever — call ahead so we prepare a room.
What ages do you see? Do you do teen care?
Birth to 18 years. We love teens: confidential visits for acne, anxiety, periods, sports injuries, with parent looped in only as teen allows (except safety issues).
How do you make shots less painful?
Numbing cream 30 min before, Buzzy cold+vibration, breastfeeding/sugar water for babies, VR goggles for 4+, and our famous treasure chest. Most kids rate pain 2/10 vs 7 elsewhere.
Which insurances do you take?
